See Why I Love This Vintage Market

I've always wanted to go to Round Top, Texas for its amazing antique fairs in the spring and fall.
It's definitely on my Bucket List.

But meanwhile I've discovered a wonderful vintage market here in Denver called
The Market Beautiful.
It was originally called the Vintage Whites Market.

Recently Jana and Vanessa moved their vintage market closer to downtown Denver
at the National Western Complex at the Denver Stock Show.
It's all arranged so there's plenty of room to see everything without stepping on somebody.

The market is in four states (Montana, Colorado, Mississippi and Utah).
And it's definitely worth a visit (or two).
We went to the market last weekend.

There's more than 150 vendors, lots of vintage stuff, entertainment, and classes.
So much fun!

The market has been ranked among the Top Four markets in the U.S.
by Romantic Homes and Flea Market Style magazines.

Although I didn't buy anything this year, I love seeing all the creativity and displays.
I always come home with tons of ideas.

This is the market where I bought my favorite red farm table
and my beautiful Hollywood Regency  candelabra.

Antiquing, inspiration, and our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Tapatio,
where we enjoyed margaritas, chili rellenos and tamales.

A perfect way to end a perfect day.

  1. Wow, I see so much I wouldnt leave without! Thanks for sharing

  2. I would love to go there! Was in Denver twice, once only to change planes and another for a conference....but it was held in Black Hawk and I was kinda stranded there for 6 days (no car to take off lol) was autumn and the Aspens were bright yellow! I was thrilled to see them because I've read a lot of historical westerns and they are always mentioned. As always, thanks for sharing your adventures.

  3. I am so excited. Tomorrow I am going to the largest vintage market in the Vancouver, Canada, area.
They have it twice a year, and I am so happy to say that I have been to every one, except last fall. I have made friends with many of the vendors. I am resting up today for a busy day tomorrow.

  4. I will look out for this market next year, Pat. I went to the Denver Home show last month, but this one looks to be more what I'd like to see.

  5. Oh my gosh this looks like just my kind of place! Vintage markets are the best. I was lucky enough to be in Nashville over the holidays when they have a huge vintage market. Glad you had a good time. xo Kathleen

  8. Wow! Great photos and descriptions of that market. I have family in Colorado and look forward to taking in this shopping experience on my next trip. Oh, and love, love, love the picture of the white settee made from a bed frame. I have a 4-poster mahogany double bed that is going to get a re-do now. Thanks for the ideas -- enjoy your blog.
