Sending you a few quiet moments.
Giant cottonwoods line an old irrigation ditch, frozen over and covered with snow,
on the northeastern plains of Colorado.

Have a beautiful day,
Pat
It looks almost like a gravel road. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI spotted irises blooming here. Too warm.
The northeastern part of Colorado looks more like Kansas or Nebraska. So many simple beautiful scenes. Irises? Ours don't bloom til mid summer. Pat
DeleteBeautiful pictures Pat. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAudrey Z.
Thank you so much Audrey.
DeleteHow beautiful is that! I thought it was a road by looking at the picture.
ReplyDeleteHappy February, starting tomorrow ~ FlowerLady
Thank you Lorraine! It does look like a road. There are irrigation ditches like this all over rural Colorado but are especially pretty with bare branches hanging low. . XO Pat
DeleteBeautiful photos! That sky!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie. I know, that sky really is that blue. So lucky to live in Colorado. Pat
DeleteIt does look so serene, thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marlene. Love the word serene. It fits. Pat
DeleteEspecially love that last photo! Love all the lines of the ditch and the fence line juxtaposed with the bare trees. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you Monika. There's so much simple beauty here if we take a moment to see it. Pat

Thanks so much Jann! Pat
ReplyDeleteWe went out yesterday and the temp was almost 70 and I said, "what looks out of place today in this sunshine?" The trees were bare! It looked so weird in this off season weather, but it was a beautiful day! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry! Yes, it's been a crazy weather year, hasn't it? It was in the 60s here today and is supposed to be in the 70s Friday! No complaints from me; I'll take this beautiful weather any day over snow. Hugs, Pat
DeleteSo peaceful. Thanks for sharing.
