A short note to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
I hope your holidays are filled with joy and special traditions
that will become cherished memories.
As this year is the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the movie Titanic,
I thought it would be fun to re-post my story about Molly Brown's house.
So, if you haven't read it or want to revisit it again, here's a link. Enjoy!
If you're a Titanic movie fan, there is a fascinating special on the National Geographic channel
(on demand) called "Titanic 20 Years" that I think you'd enjoy.
Merry Christmas to all my Blogger Friends!!!

DeleteMerry Christmas! Thanks for sharing this wonderful history. I have watched every movie and remake of the Titanic with the earlier B/W version my fav. In PHX we had a Titanic museum exhibit with real artifacts from the Titanic. They recreated the bedroom suites, one of the kitchens, and different parts of the ship and displayed an actual panel from the ship and we could see how well built it was. Artifacts of crates of dishes and other goods, suitcases of personal items were opened and displayed in the different rooms, the famous staircase was recreated to scale. The exhibit was done in such a way it appeared we took a tour of the Titanic. So glad Denver preserved her home with all that history behind it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann! I've heard about that amazing Phoenix exhibit and wish I could have seen it. Walking through Molly's home brought her to life for me. I wish you a Merry Christmas! Hugs, Pat

Merry Christmas Connie! Aren't these little dogs the sweetest friends? We just love ours. She was a rescue so we're not sure what breed she is but we think Maltest/Bichon. What is yours? Hugs, Pat
